Zakaria Bassin was born in Rabat in 1982 and has been passionate about drawing, painting, and colors ever since he was a child.

Mixing several styles: Cubism, Fauvism, street art, and even abstract art, to name but a few, he exhibits his canvases several times, both individually and collectively. His talent did not go unnoticed when he met writer Saloua Chaaibi, who commissioned him to create illustrations for her book “Yawajai”, which he designed using watercolor techniques.

Over 5 years, he produced more than 250 artworks (paintings, watercolors, sketches, murals), most of which were sold.
