Ilyesse Nouhi
Born in Rabat in 1995, with a background in Marketing and Communication, he is a visual artist specializing in digital collage.
His first collage saw the light of day in 2018, and since then, he has developed his technical skills and furthered research in relation to Moroccan culture, which can be seen in his paintings of characters from Morocco of yesteryear and monuments and objects from our cultural wealth. Ilyesse recently launched his URKIS (mix in Amazigh) project to name his own collages.

In orbit around the artist's eye, contrasts are brought to the fore. The work, bold, impertinent, and insolent, is meant to reflect life itself. A representation of everyday life, where differences coexist, intersect, and graze each other. Between tradition and modernity, submission and liberation, modesty and obscenity, the permissible and the forbidden, is it essential to make choices? Or does chaos beget order?
