Sculpture and collage

A metaphorical sculpture composed of two human silhouettes symbolizing the inner dialogue between the innocent child and the conditioned adult, two identities that form a single entity. The aura emanating from the sculpture evokes the illumination born of the dialogue between the inner child and the adult. The child's and adult's bodies adopt postures that reflect the challenges that accompany each of these stages of life. Their surfaces, made of layers of recycled collage materials, are a metaphor for a DNA shaped by our environment and consumer behaviors. Without forgetting an essential element in the reading of the work, the child's silhouette wears a very long head of hair that reminds us of the age of this ageless child worn by every adult.
