Souleyman Echatoui is a 24-year-old visual storyteller from Salé who explores image and sound through 2D animation to express himself as “a soul who loves to create and watch the sky.” After earning a bachelor’s degree in visual storytelling and comics from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan, he found his path in animation and created his first short film, The Greatest Symphony, within a year. The film was selected for festivals worldwide, earning recognition and insightful feedback. His work merges visuals and sound to explore human consciousness, using symbolism and poetic imagery to evoke emotion and remind viewers of the beauty and meaning of life.
