A clothespin is an everyday tool we use to secure clothes on a line, keeping them from being blown away by the wind. This artwork explores the concept of pressure and its impact on both genders. A large, central clothespin crafted from smaller ones serves as a metaphor for the pressures and constraints men and women experience daily. The color gradient from blue to red reflects the varying intensities of stress encountered in everyday life. This piece includes extensions on each side, allowing viewers to write their personal pressures on a piece of paper and hang it with a clothespin applying pressure to their pressures.Through this interactive artwork, we are invited to consider how these daily pressures shape our lives and relationships. While pressure may seem an inevitable force, it also has the potential to unite, fostering mutual support between genders.
