2050, can be perceived through the prism of a futuristic vision focusing on dazzling technological progress, with artificial intelligence intervening on a daily basis through the presence of robots programmed to carry out menial tasks. But questions about our future identity and way of life remain unanswered, and observation of our present may foreshadow darker outcomes for this future. The aim of this work is to expose the current situation, to confront our gaze with our contemporary reality. Cities are growing at a dizzying pace, spreading their tentacles over an ever-expanding territory. Buildings that devour our space, where the air is barely breathable because nature no longer has a place in these concrete monsters. The work is certainly a pessimistic approach, but a visionary one that will be able to anticipate and prevent the drifts of our near future.
