"La Traversée"

Art installation

La Traversée is an installation that explores the invisible wounds each person carries, immersing viewers in the psychic boundaries shaped by birth, society, and collective experiences, fears, and taboos. The contrast between the infant and barbed wire symbolizes innocence, love, and the future versus socialization, limits, and prohibitions. The work reflects on the loss of freedom from early life, when possessive love confines as much as it protects, and seeks to make visible the inner walls inherited from family and collective histories that shape our emotions, choices, and relationships.
